Join the Aga Khan Library and the Aga Khan Centre Gallery for an Artist Talk featuring three of the artists from the current exhibition, Canticle of the Birds (5 December 2025 – 10 June 2026). The discussion focuses on the exploration of realism and mysticism, inspired by the Sufi poet Farid al-Din Attar and his allegorical poem The Conference of the Birds. Featured Speakers:
- Farkhondeh Ahmadzadeh: Iranian artist exploring Persian poetry, sacred geometry, and miniatures.
- Geoff Sample: Field recordist and sound artist specializing in birdsong.
- Dr. Mike Collier: Emeritus Professor of Art and Ecology, University of Sunderland.
- Moderator: Esen Kaya, Curator of the Aga Khan Centre Gallery.
